Karen Traviss' novel features an Antarian Ranger named Jilam Kester. Many references are scattered throughout the book: pp.68-69; pp.81-83; 87; 184; 238; 280; 301; 304; 379.
Her approach of the Antarian Rangers is quite different from the previous literature, as she associates the Rangers with the Sector Rangers, as civilian law-enforcement officers.
Her works also gives precious information on Jedi escape routes during the Purge.
